Attendance and Participation Policy
We ask all families to commit fully to the CCHE group. Making our Friday meetings a priority. All families should provide conflicts prior to the start of the year. Beyond those dates, we request families not to choose other events over CCHE. Unexcused absences may result in your family not being ineligible for the next semester or year from the co-op.
1) This is your homeschooling group. The success of this endeavor depends on the input and cooperation of all participants.
2) All families are expected to attend each week. Every effort will be made to accommodate each family’s individual needs, but our first priority is to staff the morning and maintain continuity weekly.
3) You are there, not only for the role you fill, but also because we are committed to a two-adult per classroom policy. Because of this, it is essential that you be on time.
4) Each teacher is in charge of what is required for her class/role.
5) If the regularly attending parent is unable to attend, we may ask their child(ren) not attend that day as well. Another adult (second parent or grandparent) may come in their place, if approved by the director.
6) If it is necessary to miss a week, it is your responsibility to have a sub plan available and contact the director ASAP.
We understand that last minute things happen (illness, car trouble), in this case you can call the director and a plan can be determined.
